What is an RV roof vent? An RV roof vent is a ventilation fan located on the roof of your RV. Typically, this includes a fan, a screen, and a cover. The purpose of an RV roof vent is to help provide increased air circulation within your RV. It assists in keeping the air in your RV fresh and clean by circulating outdoor air in and clearing out old stale air.

Our RV roof vent features a large van with variable speed adjustment, allowing you to choose how fast or slow you want the fan to run. The fan is also reversible, able to rotate in the opposite direction. Thanks to the reversible design of the fan, you can choose to have it pull stale air out of the interior of your RV or pull in fresh air from the outdoors. This is a great feature to have, especially if you want to cook inside your RV or after taking a hot shower. The fan can be turned on the pull out all the smoke and steam, pushing it outside so the air inside your RV can remain clear and fresh. Installed in front of the fan is a durable metal mesh screen that prevents large debris such as leaves, sticks, and twigs from falling through the vent and into your RV.

The Automatic mode of our RecPro Vento Deluxe Roof Vent will automatically open the vent lid and turn the fan when the thermostat reaches the target temperature you set. The thermostat ranges from 29°° (-2° C) to 99°° (37° C). The rain sensor detects moisture when turned on and automatically closes the lid, and turns off the fan when it gets wet. With this handy feature, you will not need to keep a close eye on the weather, as it will automatically close up when it starts to rain.

The fan and other various functions are controlled via the built-in keypad located in the corner. Buttons on the keypad include Power on/off, Auto, Temperature +, Temperature -, Vent lid, Air Direction, and Rain Sensor. The power and temperature buttons are pretty obvious in function, allowing you to turn the fan off or set the target temperature for automatic mode up or down. The vent lid button will enable you to open or close the roof vent lid, while the air direction button allows you to choose which direction you want the fan to spin. Lastly, the rain sensor turns the rain sensor function off or on. Next to the keypad is a speed adjustment knob that controls the fan's speed. In the opposite corner of the keypad is a large knob that allows you to open or close the roof vent lid manually. Additionally, there are two color options for the lid of our roof vent; White and Smoked.

Included with our RecPro Vento Deluxe Roof Vent is a highly convenient remote control with a wall-mount and mounting hardware. The remote control makes controlling and adjusting the settings of your roof vent far more convenient and features a bright LCD screen that is easy to read. With the remote, you can turn features off or on and adjust settings without reaching up to the keypad. When not in use, the remote can be inserted into the wall-mount, where it will be out of the way and won't get lost. The remote takes two AAA batteries, which are not included.
