Description

Seal with tape detailHaving a slide-out in your RV is one of the best things you can do. It adds space that can make the cramped space feel more like home while keeping the size of the RV down while you're traveling. Once you get to the campsite, just open it up and enjoy your RV vacation. With this extra bit of space, though, comes with a few more tasks and responsibilities to keep it working well. Because the slide-out is a moving part, you'll need to keep an eye on the motor and internal components, yes, but there is something that's even more important and visible from the outside; the seals. RV slide-out seals are there to protect your slide out from the elements, to keep you comfortable while you're inside of your RV, and to lengthen the life of the slide-out. Because of this, it's important to replace any seals that are cracked or damaged as soon as possible.

Low friction Seal

The wiper and d-bulb seal is perhaps the better known of the RV slide-out seals. It's this seal that keeps most of the elements out from the internal mechanisms, keeping your slide working well. If your wiper and d-bulb seal is damaged, then this is the perfect replacement. Measuring 1 3/8" thick and 3" wide and your chosen length, this wiper seal is backed with 3M adhesive tape to hold it to your RV slide wall. With a thickness of 1/8" on the wiper section, this RV wiper and d-bulb seal is durable and strong. Made of rubber construction, it's low friction and flexible. Easy to install and long-lasting, it works double-time to keep your RV slide in its best shape. With the smooth black color and weather resistance, it'll keep looking and working great for years to come. To attach it, remove the backing on the adhesive tape and stick it in place. For the best hold, use flat head screws or staples intermittently, especially at the ends.

flexible seal

It's important to check your slide seals often just in case there is damage. And if there is, you'll need to replace the seal as soon as possible. Have any questions? Contact us online or call our friendly Customer Care team today!
