RV Tank Heater Pad 7 1/4" x 25" 12V Kit

7.25x25 Heater pad Kit

Most people camp their RVs in the summer. But if you’re someone who dares the colder months or would like to, there are a few things you should do. Similar to camping in the summer months, camping when it’s cold outside demands preparation. However, instead of bringing a bathing suit, beach towel, and fan, you have coats, blankets, snowshoes, and RV insulation. For your RV specifically, properly preparing for cold-weather camping could mean the difference between having a peaceful and amazing camping experience and having to come home early due to serious problems. With your plumbing system specifically, it's vital that you insulate and heat the tanks and pipes. No one wants to go to take a shower, only to not be able to have access to the fresh water through the frozen pipes. Or worse, you could find yourself unable to empty the sink or toilet due to those frozen pipes. You could also damage your tanks and pipes by forgetting to insulate them, as the liquid could freeze and expand inside of them, creating cracks, tears, and more. If you’re looking for the tools to prevent these situations from happening, you’ve come to the right place. With this kit, you have the ability to have an amazing winter adventure, free from water-related stress.

Including tank heaters (1, 2, or 3), elbow pipe heaters (1, 2, or 3), toggle switches (single, double, or triple), and wire and screws to connect them, you are all set to install your heating and insulating system for your RV’s plumbing.

Heat

The most important part of heating your RV’s plumbing system is the heater pads themselves. The tank heater pad included in the kit measures 7 1/4” W by 25” L and the elbow heater pad measures 13” L by 3” W. Both pads having a thickness of 3.0MM. The tank heater pad is suitable for fresh, gray, or black water tanks ranging up to 50 gallons and includes a 36” lead wire. The elbow heater pad is suitable for a 3” elbow pipe and includes an 18” lead wire. Backed by years of experience and testing, these pads are capable of providing reliable heating even through temperatures down to 11°F, depending on the design of your RV and proper installation of the pads. With these heater pads on your side, you can brave the winter season while keeping your plumbing system safe and operational.

Convenience

While tank heater pads have an automatic sensor that tells them to turn on or off, elbow heater pads do not. For this reason, we include the Made in America single, double, or triple toggle switch with the kit. With the included toggle switch, you have the added convenience of control over your heater pad and the LED lighted on/off switch lets you check it even in the dark. Measuring 1 3/4” x 2 1/2” (single toggle), 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” (double toggle), or 3 1/4” x 2 1/2” (triple toggle), the toggle switch is rated for up to 20 amps. When hooking up your heater pad electrical circuit, make sure that the amps do not exceed this amount. If they are over 20 amps, add a second toggle switch. Have any questions?
