If you choose to go with the adhesive method of installation, note that the type of adhesive you use will depend on the material used for your roofing. If you are unsure as to what adhesive you will need, contact your RV manufacturer for specifics. Conforming to almost any surface, it can bend up to 30 degrees, perfect for sloped roofs while avoiding a custom mount. It is not recommended for the panel to bend further than 30 degrees. This kit in particular is meant to be an extension to an existing solar layout, specifically for GoPower systems over 100W. It features MC4 multi-contact connectors for parallel wiring between the solar kits. This interlocking system allows for a simple installation that creates a reliable and safe whole system. Because this is an extension and not the original solar system, it does not come with a solar controller. The kit includes a solar module, mounting hardware, and expansion connectors and, just like the original panels, has an impermeable lamination coating over the whole unit, allowing it to contour and flex against curved surfaces. This unit has high-efficiency monocrystalline cells to produce more power per square foot than any other flexible solar panel on the market.

While this unit is mostly maintenance free, it does need to be cleaned on occasion, about once a month or at the beginning and end of the season. If there is dirt, dust, or other material covering the panel, then the sun cannot get through and you won't be able to get any power from the panel. Use water and a soft cloth or sponge to clean it. If there is more stubborn residue, you can use a mild non-abrasive cleanser, however it will need to be rinsed well after and dried. In the drier months, clean the solar panel more frequently, as they may be covered in dust more quickly. DO NOT use a pressure washer on the solar panels. Once cleaned, check for cracks, missing or broken hardware, or other issues and fix any that you see.
