Description

stop valveIn the world of RV plumbing, we’ve come a long way. We've moved from brass pipes and fittings to plastic, which is cheaper and much more flexible. With these new advancements, though, come new struggles. The plastic PEX and gray tubing, when combined with the plastic insert fittings and copper crimp rings, often crack and leak after a while. If this sounds like your current plumbing structure, you need something that will solve this for you. Here at RecPro, we believe we have just the thing. Introducing Flair-it fittings.

Creating the best connection in the market today, flair-it fittings are made of durable plastic, but unlike the insert fittings, do not require a crimp ring, which keeps away cracks and the need for tools. With the insert fittings and crimp rings, you would need the tool to attach them and you would need to make sure it was attached well (or else, there would be leaks or cracks). With the flared end, you simply insert the fitting into the tubing and screw the cap on over top. No need for plumber's tape, tools, or crimp rings. We do have a wrench available if you would like to use it to assist in the installation, though. Also, keep in mind that you should not be using any kind of lubricant to attach this fitting. Another great part of these fittings is the fact that they work with both the PEX tubing and the gray "quest" tubing. Unlike the crimp rings, which have different sets for the different sizes, these flair-it plumbing fittings can work with either one.

features

These specific PEX fittings / gray tube fittings are used to divert the flow of water in a 90-degree angle as well as stop or start the flow of water.
