Description

water fitting elbowIn the days of RVs past, you had to deal with the plumbing system you had. If something leaked or cracked, you just had to fix it. Well, not anymore. Now, you have the choice to get your plumbing done right. With these Flair-it fittings, that's exactly what you can do.

When RV manufacturers switched from brass pipes and fittings to plastic insert fittings and copper crimp rings for the more flexible and cost-effective PEX or gray tubing, they solved the problem of high costs and flexibility. Unfortunately, there were new problems. If the crimp ring was tightened too much or not applied with the right tool, it could put pressure on the insert fitting and it could crack. Sometimes, the crimp ring and insert fitting simply didn't create a strong enough bond and leaks would happen. Even past these problems, if you had to replace the fittings in your RV, you would have to cut out the area and lose that section of tubing. With the flair-it fittings, you don't have to worry about these problems. Because they don't use crimp rings, you don't have to worry about the rings creating pressure or cracking the fitting. Plus, because they don't use crimp rings, you don't have to use a tool to apply these fittings. We do, however, have a wrench available if you would like to use it with the application. These tighten-to-compress flair-it fittings create a connection that's the strongest in the market (can withstand up to 90 pounds of pressure!) and don't even require any plumber's tape. You don't have to have two different sizes for use on the PEX tubing vs. the gray tubing and the bond is just as good on both of those tubing types. If you're ready to have a plumbing system you don't have to worry about, these are your ticket!
