Break Away Switch Cable

When you’re on the road and rolling across the country you want your rig to be as safe and worry-free as possible. You don’t want the constant threat of items breaking down detracting from the enjoyment of your RV. Especially something small. Sometimes, though, those little things can make a big difference. A Break-Away Switch Cable is one of those small things that has a huge impact on your rig’s safety. When you’ve got a “toad” behind you, you want to know that you, and the people around you on the road, are safe. A Break-Away Switch Cable is a quick and easy way to ensure just that.

At RecPro we know how important things like this are to our customers, so we go the extra mile to provide the best quality, with the best price point and ease of installation, possible. This switch is an easily installed safety measure that most of our customers can do by themselves without needing the skills of a seasoned mechanic. The switch simply attaches to your trailer or “toad” with a single screw, and then the lanyard on the other end attaches to your recreational vehicle (or towing vehicle.) After that it’s simply a matter of then tying it into your existing electrical system to power the switch. Once attached, if the pin becomes dislodged from the 12V system switch, it will actuate the breaking system of your trailer; stopping it immediately. Simple. Easy. Safe. That’s how we like things at RecPro, and we know that’s how you like things with your RV. For such a low price point, and easy installation, you don’t want to trade frugality for safety.
